I think you bring up a really good point with AI and writing as a whole. We have yet to figure out the "morality" of its use against the "economics" of its use.

I'll be honest, I use AI to help me correct my writing. It helps with research (Help me understand this paper, Help me explore mythology) and it is super good at correcting my HIDEOUS grammar.

And you are so so correct with the pros and cons. Everything has a trade off, for there are no solutions.
